5 Mile Boxing Day Fun Run

Every year we host a boxing day fun run.
It's a 5 mile run - (or 2.5 miles if you are not feeling that energetic) - around Cwmbran.

The emphasis is strictly on "fun" - and most people enthusiastically join in by running in amazing fancy dress outfits.

Once the run is completed, there is a welcome pint and bowl of hot soup for everyone in the Glan Yr Afon Leisure Club.

In 2008 130 runners and supporters helped raise over £100 for the Joshua Foundation - helping youngsters with terminal illnesses.

Come along and run off that Christmas Pudding! - we look forward to meeting you.
