Griffithstown Harriers was set up in September 1983 and is recognised as a well-established running club in South Wales.
We are based at Glan-yr-Afon Leisure Ltd, on Edlogan Way, Cwmbran, Torfaen. We are within easy reach of Newport & Pontypool. We welcome runners of all abilities who wish to participate in road running. The club participates in the Gwent Leisure Centre Leagues but no longer supports the Gwent Leagues.

Griffithstown Harriers take pride in welcoming all abilities to the sport of running, except those who wish to compete competitively.

Membership Forms
Annual Membership -£45 per year, and includes Welsh Athletics Registration.

Congratulations to Emma Bayliss for representing Wales in the Commonwealth Championships in Snowdon on 24th September. The Welsh Team won a bronze medal. Well Done Emma!

Helen Desmond has been fortunate to be awarded a London Marathon place in the ballot., and Julie Davies has a 'Best for Age' place. We wish you both lots of luck.

The awards were made after the first GLCL XC race at Chepstow. Results from the race, and updated Champs Results are on the Results Page.
